Evaporators & Condensers

Our wiped film evaporators are used to flash distill heat sensitive materials having various components under controlled temperature at atmospheric pressure or under vacuum whilst maintaining short residence time so as to prevent localized heating and thermal decomposition of the material. The salient features of wiped film evaporators are as follows:

• Thin and wipe film type of heat exchanger with a leak proof rotary wiper and a mechanical seal ensuring high heat transfer coefficient facilitating vaporization of the liquid maintaining minimum temperature differential between the source heat and the boiling point of the liquid at the operating pressure preventing localized heating
• Designed to carry out distillation at high vacuum
• Efficient condenser to condense all the vapours at high vacuum
• Vapour trap preventing uncondensed vapour entering the vacuum pump
• M.O.C all contact parts S.S. 304
• Capacity: 5 lit. Per hour onwards.

We can supply both spiral condensers, shell condensers and tube condensers. These shell condensers, tube condensers are designed specially, as per the heat load, for the vapour to travel a longer distance for effective condensation. We can also incorporate multi-pass feature in the shell and tube condensers to increase the efficiency of the condenser as per the process requirement. All the condenser are provided with proper nozzles for vapour inlet outlet and coolant inlet and outlet. The parts coming in contact with the vapour is constructed out of SS 304 or 316 and rest all is constructed in ms or as per the client’s requirement. Capacities offered for this are 1 sq. Mt onwards.
