Fractionating Columns

We offer stirred fractionating columns which are used for separating various components having different boiling points at atmospheric pressure as well as under high vacuum. These are suitable for all kinds of products and are provided to the clients at highly competitive prices. The features are as follows:

• The reboiler is provided with a mechanical agitator to accomplish uniform boil up of the mixture without localized heating and hence avoiding thermal shocks
• The controlled heating facility ensures fairly uniform boil-up rates and avoids over heating
• Highly efficient structured packing provides a low HETP and low-pressure drop across the column
• The unique reflux distribution system with monitoring reflux ratio ensures high efficiency of separation
• The design of condenser ensures low pressure drop across it
• The appropriate design of the sub cooler ensures the entire material to be sub cooled to the desired temperature before it is withdrawn
• The vacating facility provided ensures easy removal of the distillate without disturbing the vacuum of the system

• Adequate vapor traps provided to ensure complete trapping of the uncondensed Vapors thereby preventing the vapors from entering the vacuum pumps
• The entire column and assembly is provided with specially machined flanges, appropriate gaskets and leak proof accessories to ensure almost zero leaks
• Capacities Offered: 50 Liters to 5000 Liters Reboiler with 5 to 30 theoretical stages

The falling film fractional distillation column is for fractionating heat sensitive mixture having various components under controlled temperature at atmospheric pressure and under vacuum whilst maintaining constant heat exchange area through out the distillation. Fractional distillation columns have a falling film type of heat exchanger with a leak proof pump and a mechanical seal which ensures high heat transfer coefficient to facilitate vaporization of the liquid maintaining minimum temperature differential between the source heat and the boiling point of the liquid at the operating pressure preventing localized heating. The salient features are as follows:

• Designed to carry off fractionating at high vacuum
• Reflux distribution valve provided to facilitate adjustment of desired reflux ratio
• Efficient structured packing with distributors ensure low HETP and low pressure drop
• Vacuum, vapour traps and manifold system facilitates operating the column at selective vacuum at different lines without disturbing the column equilibrium
• Capacities: 10 lit onwards

We offer molecular distillation unit for separating the volatiles from non-volatiles at high vacuum, low pressure and low temperature. The separation is important to safeguard and maintain the vital properties of the product. These molecular distillation units are used for purification, separation of components, for refining of crude essential oils, oleoresins, resinoids. The units can be dehydrated & decolorized by molecular distillation without disturbing their basic characteristics.

Available with us are high quality reflux distribution systems designed & engineered to suit the column to which it is to be fixed. Users have obtained excellent results from the columns which normally did not give fine cuts with the ordinary reflux dividers. The salient features of reflux distribution systems are as follows:
